Baahubali Two Parts : The Conclusion is a 2017 Indian epic action film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It is the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning and completes the story of Shivudu. The film narrates the past events that led to the death of Amarendra Baahubali and the present events that involve Shivudu’s revenge against Bhallaladeva. The film reveals that Amarendra Baahubali was a noble and brave king who fell in love with Devasena, a princess of Kuntala kingdom. He married her against the wishes of his mother Shivagami, who wanted him to marry Bhallaladeva’s sister-in-law. Bhallaladeva, who was jealous of Amarendra’s popularity and power, plotted with his father Bijjaladeva and Kattappa to kill him. Kattappa, who was bound by his oath to serve the throne, stabbed Amarendra in the back, unaware that Shivagami had changed her mind and declared him as the king. Devasena gave birth to Shivudu and escaped with the help of Kattappa and Sivagami, who sacrificed her life to save him. Shivudu grew up unaware of his heritage until he met Avantika and Kattappa. The film ends with Shivudu defeating Bhallaladeva in a climactic battle and becoming the new king of Mahishmati with Devasena as his queen.
